There is a team of 12 members of staff at London Colney Parish Council. They are split between three teams: office staff, grounds staff and support staff.
The office staff comprise of the Clerk, supported by the Events & Community Manager, Finance Officer and Admin Officer. They are responsible for the day to day running of the Caledon Community Centre, the administration of the Council and the organisation of the many, popular village events.
The Council’s ground staff are responsible for the maintenance of the playing fields and sports pitches, village green and other areas around the village for which we are responsible, plus the play areas and allotments.
There is a team of three full time ground staff who undertake day to day maintenance work including all the maintenance of the sports and recreation facilities in Morris Way, Shenley Lane, Walsingham Way and Napsbury.
They also carry out other works related to Parish Council projects and events, such as Larks in the Parks, annual Firework Display, Christmas Lights and Parish Environmental Action Plan projects.
The support staff including two caretakers, cleaners and kitchen staff.
