Sunday Lunches

Following the successful launch of our new monthly Sunday Lunch service the next  date will be 26 February 2012 when we will once again be providing a full 3 course Sunday Roast with all the trimmings for just £6.00 between 1.00pm and 3.00pm. Numbers are limited so advance booking essential - please contact the Parish Council Offices.

The Centre is the main social location for the community in the heart of the village in Caledon Road. The building houses the Public Library, the Parish Council offices (open for enquiries Monday - Friday 10.00 - 12.00), a large hall/function room and a small hall/meeting room - both with licensed bar facilities which are open Wednesday - Sunday.  The small hall/meeting room boasts two 40inch flat screen TVs plus a 2sqm projector television which can be used for presentations. The large hall is also equipped with a full Hearing Loop system. There is a modern kitchen for preparing meals and a large outside area which includes seating, a large field, basketball hoop and children's playground.

The Centre is also the base from which we operate the Meals on Wheels service for anyone in the village who needs a freshly cooked, two-course meal delivered to their door on a daily basis. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we open the small hall and bar to everyone for lunches from 12.00 till 2.00pm when we offer three course lunch specials for just £3.50.

Both the halls are available for hire for activities and special events such as parties, weddings, christenings, etc and as a conference or training venue. Bar services are provided as part of the hire and a buffet service is available from our own catering staff. Delegate day rates are available for conference and training events.
