The following Primary schools and nurseries are run by Herts County Council.
• Bowmansgreen Junior and Mixed Infant School is based at Telford Road. It has an entrance at Telford Road and another at Caledon Road, beside the Caledon Community Centre. The headteacher is Moira White and the school can be contacted on 767772.
• St Bernadette Primary School is at Walsingham Way, just off Shenley Lane. It is a Roman Catholic School and has a nursery service on site. The Headteacher is Ann Cassidy and the school number is 822489.
• London Colney Junior and Mixed Infant School is at Perham Way (main entrance) and Alexander Road. The headteacher is Lisa Valla . A Nursery school is based on this site with a separate structure: the headteacher is Barbara Fitton; contact the nursery on 822196. This Primary school is also the base for a Family Clinic.
