Willows Farm Village

If you’re looking for a fun family day out then Willows Farm Village has something for everyone. Located in London Colney, St. Albans, just off junction 22 of the M25 in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, you can meet many Farmyard Favourite animals from pigs, goats, chickens and sheep, not forgetting our alpacas, horses and reindeer.

The animals star in their own shows too, from Sheepstakes Sheep Racing to the hilarious Daft Duck Trials. See the beautiful birds of prey in our bird-o-batics Falconry Displays and different breeds of sheep from around the UK in our Sheep Show.

Then there’s lots of adventure play for the children from bouncy castles and slides, trampolines, fun fair rides, Build ‘n Play sand pit, Woolly's Workout Agility Play Trail and Frisbee Golf.  You can hop on Tristan the Runaway Tractor, pan for gold and win a medal or have a ride on our pedal tractors in our Tractor Trek.   

There is plenty of undercover activities too with Woolly Jumpers indoor play barn featuring stunning slides, brilliant ball pool and superb soft play.  You can enjoy a show in Woolly’s Showtime Theatre and Captain Chicken’s Egg Dodge is a great place for all the family to play as you dodge the soft foam ‘eggs’ fired from the egg cannons.

Every school holiday we also put on seasonal events from a lambing event at February Half Term, Easter Egg Hunts in our Easter Eggstravaganza, Sheep Shearing at Spring Special, an A-maize-ing Maze during our Summer Spectacular and FREE pumpkins grown on the farm during our Pumpkin Festival.

Then at Christmas, Santa comes to visit where every child who visits him in his grotto receives a golden key to enter his toy shop and choose any gift. You’ll also discover a Magic Wood Ride, Nativity Show and Reindeer together with an elves house, indoor play and undercover Tractor Trek.

Willows Farm Shop

Willows Farm Shop is a hub for the best of local and British produce and boasts one of the best butchery counters in the region.

Mick our Master Butcher makes Willows award-winning sausages on site as well as hand making burgers and offering his expertise and cuts of meat to the requirements of our customers.

Willows delicatessen counter offers a host of cheeses from local suppliers such as Wobbly Bottom goats cheese as well as olives, pate and savories.

Fresh bread and cakes from local bakeries and bakers are delivered daily with seasonal fruit and vegetables, free-range eggs and milk from a local farm also available.

We showcase the best of British wines and drinks together with quality snacks and products from independent suppliers.

Willows Farm Shop is open daily from 10am – 5.30pm and 4pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.  Closed 25th – 17th December and 1st January.  You can visit Willows Farm Shop without entering Willows Farm Village with free parking for its customers.
