There is a team of 11 members of staff at London Colney Parish Council. They are split between three teams: office, grounds & maintenance and support staff.
The office staff comprises of the CEO/Responsible Finance Officer, supported by the Community & Neighbourhood Officer, Events & Marketing Officer, Environment & Neighbourhood Officer, Finance Officer and Admin Officer. They are responsible for the day to day running of the Caledon Community Centre, the administration of the Council, community engagement, environmental impact and organise the popular village events.
The Council’s team of ground and maintenance staff are responsible for the maintenance of the playing fields and sports pitches, village green and other areas around the village plus five play parks and two allotment sites.Â
The parish council assets are the Caledon Community Centre and play park, Morris Playing Field and Pavilion, Walsingham Way Open Space, Napsbury Park Open Space and Pavilion, and Shenley Lane Recreation Ground.
The support staff includes the parish Hospitality Manager, bar staff, Splash Shack staff and a caretaker.
